A method-comparability checklist for research records
A comparison is strongest when the measured property, method, units and sample basis align. Sharing a compound name is only the start of that check.
For research use only. Not for human or veterinary use.
Before placing percentages side by side, identify which differences could affect interpretation. Where metadata are missing, keep the comparison descriptive. A table should show the limitation rather than hide it behind a ranking.
Reading checklist
- Match the measured property
- Compare methods and units
- State missing comparability information
