What a supplier certificate archive represents
A supplier archive is a selected collection of documents made available by that supplier. It should not be interpreted as a random sample of an entire market or as a controlled independent survey.
For research use only. Not for human or veterinary use.
Its value is inspectability: readers can follow records, identify missing information and reconstruct summaries. Describe what was included and when the snapshot was made. Broader claims require a sampling design that the archive alone does not provide.
Reading checklist
- State the source population
- Explain inclusion rules
- Avoid market-wide conclusions
