Reading acetylation in a compound name

An acetyl-group prefix indicates a chemical modification. It should be recorded at its specified location rather than treated as decorative wording or a substitute for the underlying sequence.

For research use only. Not for human or veterinary use.

A page comparing modified and parent peptides should explain exactly which identity field differs. It should not infer a practical outcome from the modification alone. Keep the structure source and any measured evidence in separate fields.
