Isotope patterns in mass spectrometry
An isotope pattern is the distribution of related mass-spectral signals associated with isotopic composition. It supplies information beyond the position of a single peak.

Read the pattern together with charge assignment and the stated molecular form. A diagram alone does not establish that the pattern was measured on the material in a particular certificate. Preserve the distinction between an expected pattern and an observed spectrum.
