Endotoxin reporting units
An endotoxin result must be read with its reported units, method and sample basis. It concerns an analytical endpoint distinct from peptide identity or chromatographic purity.
For research use only. Not for human or veterinary use.
Do not transfer a limit or result from one reporting basis to another without the information required for that conversion. A missing endotoxin field means the report does not supply that result; it does not mean a zero value.
What to retain in a research record
- Result and units exactly as reported
- Method and reporting limit
- Sample basis and scope
