Identify the material behind the name
Retain the complete material name and the corresponding source certificate. Short names do not establish a sequence, terminal form or fragment assignment. Compare evidence at the document level
Each material has its own certificate history. Read the report identifiers and issuing laboratories independently. More archived reports for one entry means more documents in that archive, not a controlled finding that one material is preferable.
Keep a blend separate
A catalog blend containing both names is a third item with its own documentation. Its certificate is not automatically the certificate for either single-material product. Preserve the distinction when saving references.
