Why stereochemistry belongs in a compound record

Stereochemical labels can distinguish compounds that share the same elemental formula. They belong in a catalog identity record when the intended structure specifies them.

For research use only. Not for human or veterinary use.

A formula match does not resolve every stereochemical question. Compare the source notation and the analytical scope before claiming an exact match. Where a field is incomplete, make that incompleteness visible rather than normalize it away.
