Reading the units in a residual-solvent report

Residual-solvent results need an analyte name, units and a reporting basis. A number stripped of those labels cannot be interpreted consistently.

For research use only. Not for human or veterinary use.

Keep qualifiers such as below a reporting limit attached to the result. A test for named solvents does not establish the absence of all solvents. An archive should list what the report examined and leave untested substances outside its claims.
