A referral link and an evidence link serve different purposes

A referral link attributes a commercial visit to a partner. An evidence link takes the reader to the source supporting a statement. A page can use both, but the reader should be able to tell which is which.

Link the actual certificate or reference beside the factual claim. Label compensated promotional links and preserve the partner portal's issued destination. Do not attach an unverified discount code or invent attribution parameters.
