Why peak area is not the amount in a vial
A peak-area percentage describes a fraction of the signals included in a chromatographic calculation. It does not automatically establish the amount of peptide in the container or account for every component of the material.

Read content, water and counterion information separately when reported. A worksheet that places these fields beside purity makes the boundaries visible and prevents one headline percentage from answering unrelated questions.
